Soldiers’ Angels

According to the New York Attorney General, Soldiers’ Angels reported raising $7,017,730.50 from solicitation campaigns using professional fundraising firms in 2021. Of this, only $2,769,240.15 (39 percent) went to the charity; the rest was kept by the solicitors. Read more here.

Note: Soldiers’ Angels declared in its 2020 tax filing that it received $21.3 million in donated goods, out of $29 million in total revenue and $27.9 million in total expenses. We have factored out these donated goods in our overhead calculation in order to better reflect the operational efficiency of the organization.
